We currently have to add the current release version and the next pre version to Socorro whenever we do a release. We should automate this.

Do you envision needing changes on the Socorro side for this?

Today, you could make an HTTPS POST to do this, but we'd need to sort out authentication (we just discussed this in the context of QA actually so I have a few ideas if you'd like to talk).
I hadn't thought past "don't want to do this by hand anymore" yet, tbh :). It seems like having an API exposed would be best for us, though. I'm happy to hear whatever ideas you have.
