I installed a 3 year server certificate from Verisign and Firefox (3.6) states that the connection is not certified. Internet Explorer 8 doesn't complain about it. It seems that Firefox does not trust "Verisign Class 3 Secure Server CA - G3" certificate, though it does with G2 certificate. I didn't test this yet in Firefox 4.0b7.

You must install both your server cert, and any "intermediate" certs from Verisign that are required to "chain up" to the root included in Mozilla/Firefox. Did you do that? You should find info about intermediates in the support section of your CA vendor.

Hi Kai. Sorry for the noise. I did install an intermediate CA, but two were needed, the primary and the secondary... Firefox acts as expected then. Resolving INVALID.
