@ Sean Martell: Hi Sean! We're soft-launching a new and improved version of the Drumbeat web site in late December

* It includes a new splash page similar to the Mozilla Labs front page
https://mozillalabs.com/

* We're wondering if you might be able to create a large Drumbeat illustration for our splash page, similar to the awesome "Prospector" monkey illustration that's on the Labs front page right now? Building off your original Drumbeat logo design.

* Please let us know if you need any further details or specs from us on this? And thanks for any help you can offer!
Hello! This depends on timing. When would you need this for?
Hi Sean, we need something by the end of December, preferably sooner (mid-Dec). If that's not possible, we can always get by with something for now (e.g. existing Drumbeat logo) and replace the image with a better illustration when it's ready.
Hi, Sean. Just wondering if it might be possible for you to deliver something on this for Jan 24?

We're starting the security review and deployment process for the new site -- pretty excited about it!

Updated splash page design attached. Hoping this will provide you with more detailed specs than we were able to give earlier.

No worries if this deadline won't fit your sched -- just let us know and we'll go with Plan B.

In terms of a plan B, I've been working with Monique, a designer who has done a number of other Mozilla projects, to mock up a mozilla.org/drumbeat page and that was going to include a large illustration. So far she just has an initial sketch, but we could move forward with her on that.

CC'ing John Slater to see if he has thoughts about if this is better to do this in house or not based on available resources and priorities.

Sean is pretty busy right now with some other projects...if you need this soon going with another resource would probably be best. I like the work Monique has been doing, fwiw.
To follow up, I talked with Matt and we'll work with Monique on this.
