See the attachment. The same thing happens in the cascading menus in the first column of the Firefox menu, but it doesn't happen for the cascading menus in the second column. This has been happening for a couple of weeks on my machine (Lenovo T510 w/ NVIDIA NVS 3100M (driver version 8.17.12.5738). Setting gfx.direct2d.disabled = true works around the problem. FWIW, the graphics driver on this machine resets regularly.

I'm also seeing this. Easy to reproduce - but no concrete steps. Opening a second window and right-clicking in a few places is fairly likely to cause it for me. Occasionally I've seen the main Firefox menu do this as well. Version: 4.0b7 about:support / Graphics... (In reply to comment #5) > Seems like Dupe of Bug 613790, no? Does to me. I also verified this issue is fixed for me in nightly build 2010-Dec-22.
