to reproduce: make sure PSM is installed (to use SSL) create a new profile, or use a profile that currently doesn't have an account for secnews.netscape.com click on this link: snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.netscape6.windows the a secure news account gets created for secnews.netscape.com, with the right group, but the port is 119 and not 563. The fix is trivial. I'll attach it.

Okay, the port gets changed to 563, and the gold lock comes up on all three top platforms. NT build 2000120504, Mac 12-05-00, and Linux 2000120508.
