(donate.mozilla.org really needs its own component given all the bugs it will acquire.)

The message you see after submitting a blank form (or one with an error) is bright red and this:

Error processing your contribution. Please correct the problems marked below.

Of course, it's not clear where the problems. "They're red!" you might say. Yes, but the entire site has red all over it. Maybe there should be little arrows at each of the problem labels. I dunno.

Oh right, that's a tangent. How about the bright red error message being a bit nicer in style and not use a brand new font? It'd also be nice if it was friendly. Maybe:

We found some problems when processing your contribution. Please correct the
  marked sections below.

Never use the word "error" if you can help it.

1. This is the error style provided by BSD. It is consistant ui interaction pattern that errors are marked in red. Maybe you could offer something productive; perhaps a patch to the css that offers a better error style?

2. The font is not different; just red. What do you mean by brand new font? Do you mean font-face? or are you just talking about colour here?

3. I agree that it is always important to be polite no matter the situation. Unfortunately, the error message is outside of our control. Perhaps, Samuel or Chelsea would like to email BSD and suggest this more polite error message.

If so - feel free to reopen/ reassign etc.

I am closing this as wontfix for now.

Well, it's good to know that MoFo selected a company that provides the best user experience for contributors with no flexibility... Sad that this got WONTFIXed...
