Various tools need to know what masters exist, and how to operate with them. We need at least this information about each master: - hostname - http port - pb port - ssh port - db name (how it identifies itself in claimed_by_name) - role(s) (e.g. does it do builds, tests, scheduling) - what directories do buildbotcustom, buildbot-configs live in - what directory does the master live in - datacentre From IRC, we could start out making some JSON files available at a well-determined location, and then flesh that out to a web-app if required. Sample JSON format at http://people.mozilla.org/~catlee/production-masters.json
