Zoho writer won't enter shared mode

Shared editing is not working in Zoho Writer (http://writer.zoho.com). Trying to enter a collaborative editing session with another user on the same document results in the "Entering shared edit mode" box showing up and never going away. This works (mostly) in Firefox 3.6.
Steps to reproduce:

Person A
1. Create a free account at zoho.com.
2. Create a document at writer.zoho.com.
3. Save the document.
4. Share the document with Person B with read/write access (Share>Share>Add User). An email is sent to Person B with a link to the document.

Person B
1. Create a free account at zoho.com.
2. When you receive the invitation email from Person A, click the link to go to the document.

Expected outcome:
Person B sees a message that Person A is already editing the document. When the document opens, it displays highlights to indicate paragraphs that are being edited by the other person.

Current outcome:
The message about the other person editing the document stays on the screen and must be manually dismissed. Two people can edit the same document, but their changes clobber each other.
