I would like to see a feature for the users to merge 2 accounts on sumo if they use 2 different usernames for eg I use satdav and I wanted to change my account name to davidow I know at present you can do that but the chat user name stays the same it would be good if you can do that with the chat feature also

Am I wrong in assuming that the SUMO team can just change your username and livechat ID?
I spoke to zzxc about this he said he can only change the forum username but the livechat one will stay the same
AFAICT, this isn't a bug. satdav: Feel free to contact zzxc about changing your SUMO username. I don't know why the livechat name can't change but I trust Matthew here.
