Details

If I launch fennec according to the instructions at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Android#Debugging_on_Galaxy_S_devices, attach gdb then press "Launch", nothing happens.  Eventually android pops up a "this application is not responding" dialog.

Oddly enough, the splash screen updates on orientation changes.

(And yes: I remembered to "continue" in gdb ;) .)
