When the file browser (nautilus) is placed partially covering the drop target element and a file is dragged over the element and then dragged directly back into the file browser without dragging outside of the element first, the dragleave event doesn't fire as it should.
This should be fixed by bug 497498.

Bug 497498 is now fixed, but I haven't reproduced in builds without that fix.
Perhaps the patch for Bug 481737 fixed this.
