This only happens with PDF files and has only been happening in the last few weeks. When I access tools.. Options.. it does not give me an option to choose to open files when downloading, only gives me choices on where to save.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find PDF file (from website or e-mail attachment)
2. Click on download file
3. Only gives save options, not open file option
Actual Results:
As described

Works for me. Please try if it works fine in safe mode or try by creating a new profile.

Dear reporter, if wanting the OPEN file option, you have to make sure your pdf plugin is enabled.

Please go to about:plugins and check that that please come back with a reply if this will solve your problem.

Indeed, is a WFM on
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.14) Gecko/20110121 Firefox/3.6.14

It is still happening for me. I don't know what you mean by:
This is a WFM on

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203
Firefox/3.6.13
But I assume you are saying I can find the answer somewhere? Non-tech speak please!

As requested - I have removed, reinstalled, followed all the directions on the adobe troubleshooting page (except the one that says you should have programming experience to do). Hope this helps?
