Details
Going to work with rtucker on developing the external facing portion of the desktop portal. The idea is to create an intranet site, desktop.mv.mozilla.com (http://desktop) where Mozilla employees can easy file a desktop bug, find our current and past newsletters, find a desktop person, and search for common issues (will create a bug for migrating/updating desktop related topics on Confluence) rtucker will be working with the Bugzilla API to help us develop a front-end for a bug filing form. Users will first encounter a portal similar to https://intranet.mozilla.org/webtools/authenticate/login where they will need to enter their Bugzilla credentials, and only those with mozilla-corporation bit should be allowed to file a bug.

Just to add some timing around this, this is tagged as a Q1 goal, something that needs to be done by the end of March.

I installed the UI and a bit of the framework and got a demo of it to jlazaro to check out and he approves of it. jlaz is going to get me an outline of the functionality, what he needs each page to do, which buttons link to each page for where etc. Once I have that I'll move forward with implementing the functionality as outlined in his document.
