User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b13pre) Gecko/20110223 Firefox/4.0b13pre
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b13pre) Gecko/20110223 Firefox/4.0b13pre

I am noticing that when a JPEG image is out of the visible window range, the image won't be displayed until AFTER the scroll bar moves down to that point in the page, even though the entire page is done loading. To see what I mean, load the above page and SLOWLY scroll the page down, watching the Actor/Actress images at the top of the page and the Movie Recommendations flash before being completely drawn on the page.

Reproducible: Always
This occurs if I scroll with a mouse wheel or drag the scroll bar down. I tried turning off both Auto-scroll and Hardware acceleration (separately and together), but it doesn't solve the problem.

Reporter, please can you confirm whether this issue still occurs using Firefox 4.0.1 (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/new/) or higher, in Firefox safe mode (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode) and/or with a clean profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile). Ideally, also check using the latest nightly: http://nightly.mozilla.org/

If this issue no longer occurs, please close as "Resolved Worksforme".

It it in fact still occurs, please provide as much extra information as possible, including what versions tried, whether safe mode/new profile tested etc. Thanks! :-)

(Template reply to inactive UNCO bugs; also setting closemedate for 2 weeks time, given lack of activity).

I am marking as "Resolved Invalid" because I notice that the Nightlies are getting faster and correct me if I am wrong, but I think Firefox loads the page dynamically - meaning the entire page is already in memory after the Status pop-up goes away, but if a video or image is outside the current screen view it only gets loaded from memory after the scroll bar moves past that point on the page. Anything with regular HTML (text / buttons / option choosers) don't take up as much memory as a video, so there is no delay when passing the scroll bar over those areas.
