I have successfully subscribed to a number of search feeds with Google Reader, but it doesn't always work. In particular, when I use this URL: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?chfieldfrom=2w&chfieldto=Now&classification=Components&component=JavaScript%20Engine&product=Core&query_format=advanced&resolution=---&resolution=DUPLICATE&title=Bug%20List&ctype=atom it rejects it. I'm assuming that this means there's something in that resulting bug list that it doesn't like, since other searches work. (The chfieldfrom=2w part can be ignored; I just have it to reduce the server load but it has no effect on whether or not the search works.) I sent that URL to a feed validator, and it complained about some URL not matching, but nothing that seemed like it should break things. The bug may actually be in Google Reader, of course. b.m.o is currently using 3.6.4.

Hmm. If you try to do something else with the atom, like make it a live bookmark, does it work?

A live bookmark worked (at least, it was populated with a bunch of bugs; I don't know if it skipped any.) Some random feed reader on the web (I don't remember which) also failed.

Live bookmarks definitely work. I use them for years.
