I don't know under what component to file this, but we have 3-4 shells in the tree. The JS shell, the xpconnect shell, the ipcshell, and I have probably forgotten one. We should merge all these into one shell library and extensions or something like that.

Slightly interested, but I've committed to too much stuff right now. If this still needs doing in a few months, I'll take a look.
