Error message pops up in the network tab when nick does not exist on server

While having a private chat with a nick, if something happens to the nick (time-out, nick left the server...), the error message 
[20:09]	===	The nickname “nick” does not exist.
appears in the network tab.

I think it should pop-up in the nick tab instead, as one seldom check the network tab for such errors.

In this situation, one is led to believe that the nick isn't answering, which is wrong.
