User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.15) Gecko/20110303 Firefox/3.6.15 Build Identifier: Is it possible to get a dump of the bugzilla database containing the whole history of reported bugs? I am a computer science PhD student at the University of Antwerp, Belgium and I am currently investigating how users describe occurring problems. Based on this description, we aim to predict the actual severity of the reported bug automatically. Here, we use data mining techniques executed on the history of reported bugs. We already wrote 2 papers about this topic (see http://lore.ua.ac.be/~alamkan/wordpress/?page_id=7). Kind regards I will use several text data mining techniques and therefore I need access to the bug database. Reproducible: Didn't try

Hi "denach": Please can you print and sign a copy of this agreement, scan it and attach it to this bug? Also, we will need evidence that you are who you say you are - for example, a departmental web page bearing your name, and using an official University of Antwerp email address in Bugzilla. Agreement for Receipt and Use of Bugzilla Data Thank you for contacting us about using the Bugzilla database for the public good. We are happy to work with you and provide access to you free of any charge. In exchange for receipt and right to use data from Mozilla’s Bugzilla system, you agree to the following: *you will only use the data for purposes that benefit the public in some way and will not use the data for a purpose that harms users or violates any applicable laws; * you will not use the data to exploit or sell security flaws in any Mozilla product or potential product, and will disclose first to Mozilla any security flaws you do identify; *you will not attempt to identify the source of the data or otherwise seek to extract any personal information from the data, such as correlating the data with other non-Mozilla data sources or otherwise seeking to determine the names or other personal information of those whose data is provided to you; *you will not share or transfer the data to any third party. If you want to share the data with a collaborator, please have her/him contact Mozilla and sign this agreement first. *In the event you are acquired or cease operations or have a change of control, all your rights to the data cease. * Mozilla does not make any representations or warranties about the data and you receive it on an AS-IS basis and acknowledge that by its nature it contains bugs, viruses, and errors. Hi Gervase, First I wish to thank you for the reply, and secondly I wish to excuse me for my late reply. I seems that I forgot to enable the option to receive a mail when someone replies. I just changed my email address to ahmed.lamkanfi@ua.ac.be, it seems that it takes a little time before this would be visible. You can find me on websites of the university: http://www.ua.ac.be/main.aspx?c=.ONDERZKDB&n=40309&id=UA053&tid=21017 http://www.ua.ac.be/main.aspx?c=ahmed.lamkanfi Also on our departmental website (my name is in the list): http://win.ua.ac.be/content/staff Early next week I will provide the copy of the agreement. By then my email address will hopefully be changed. Kind regards, Ahmed
