User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla Firefox 4.0 When we work within Open-Xchange Groupware system, and open a java applet on another tab, the firefox crashes after some time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Login into Open-Xchange Groupware 2. Open a java applet on another tab 3. switch back to Groupware,b move mails from one folder to another 4. work in the java applet Actual Results: Firefox crashes with the a segfault error. Johannes, could you probably verify if that also happens if you are connected to https://www.ox.io/ ? That is a preview server where everyone can get a test account easily. It's running the latest version of OX though which is likely not the same as yours. If it happens there as well it would be easier for developers to check.

Wolfgang, I just created an ox.io account and launched the java applet on another tab. But the Firefox wasn't crashing. But as soon as I login into my open-xchange server the firefox crashes. Thats what I have seen in the past. My local open-xchange server and the java applet makes the firefox crashing. But I really dont know how to prove it you on public sources... Do you have an idea?

The HTML <applet> element and related java functionality was removed from Gecko in Bug 1279218. Marking related bugs as invalid.
