Details

If you have saved Tab Groups they will be lost on restarting Firefox 4 unless you set 'Show my windows and tabs from last time' under Tools -> Options -> General -> Start-up

STR:
1. On Firefox 4.0, Windows XP make sure you do not have 'Show my windows and tabs from last time' set under Tools -> Options -> General -> Start-up
2. Create a Tab Group and add few sites to it
3. Close Fx 4
4. Restart Fx 4
5. click on 'Group your tabs' icon on top right

Actual result:
Your saved tab group will be lost

Expected result:
Tab Groups should be saved without setting 'Show my windows and tabs from last time'
        User Agent
        Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0

When setting When Firefox starts:"Show my home page", "Show blank page", it is expected that the next time you open FF, your previous session will not be restored.

In order to get back your groups, go to History->Restore previous session.
Lots of people are expecting 'Saved Tabs' to work like bookmarks where they don't have to worry about loosing them on restart. If users are taking the time and effort to create/save new tabs then they better stick.
We are doing the correct thing by blowing away a users tab groups if they are not electing to use session restore. We should, however, be doing a better job of educating users about session restore, specifically in Panorama.
