1. go to http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/nightly/latest-mozilla-central-linux-l10n/ and install arabic plugin
2. restart fennec
3. long tap on a link

Expected: Bookmark Link is localized
Actual: Bookmark Link is in English
The nightly builds are taking the l10n strings from 'mobile-browser' and not from 'mobile-2.0'. Since 'fennec_mc' tree (the one that takes strings from 'mobile-browser') isn't open to signing off yet, we can't add the missing strings to the nightlies. I suggest that you use the release version of firefox mobile if you want to perform l10n tests.
Nightlies are independent of sign-offs.

Also, bookmarks links are designed to be in the language that your fennec was in when the profile was created, so language-packs in general don't have a way to impact that.

Given that this is works-as-designed, resolving this one INVALID.

According to bug 637031 it's in the chrome/browser.dtd and was recently added.
Doesn't change the resolution of the bug, strings on in-development trees are expected to be not localized at all times.
