The default outline on link or flash is really ugly. 1px dotted black is so '90.


Something like a border of 2px solid #BD6A86 with a background of #5A182D could be great. With border-radius: 3px.

or a 1px dashed and a light blue.

Would be interesting to see a mockup "before/after".

We're in the process of removing support for plugins (bug 1677160), so I think this bug is irrelevant now.
