For the 2.1b3 milestone, new versions will be needed to appear on crash-stats.

Current trunk nightlies of SeaMonkey are now 2.2a1pre. What about *their* crash stats? Or should that be a different bug?

Have you actually looked at crash.stats.mozilla-com and which versions it lists? IIRC, 2.2a1pre is already available there. ;-)
