User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0

The browser freezes if, while performing a download I close the main browser window then try to open a new instance. It tries to open the previous session then it freezes and the frozen process can only be terminated via task manager

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start a download
2.close the main browser window, but leave the download window open
3.open a new instance
Actual Results:
The browser freezes wile try to open the previous session

Expected Results:
Firefox should have opened only a new tab and should have started normally without freezing

Using the default theme, on a PC equipped with AMD Phenom X6 processor and an AMD Radeon graphics card
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0

Works fine for me. Please try if you can reproduce it or if it works fine

By deactivating all add-ons in safe mode it works fine.
