User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/534.24 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/11.0.696.57 Safari/534.24 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1 When I start Firefox, certain graphics are corrupted. For example, my Personas theme is completely green when it's supposed to be blue, and reinstalling the theme won't help either. I have a similar problem in Thunderbird as well (making a bug for that too). Aside from the interface itself, only the Firefox logos on firefox.com are corrupted as well for some reason. You can find a screenshot at http://dmaxel.homelinux.com/images/firefox.png Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Installed AMD drivers 2. Started Firefox 3. Corruption appears Actual Results: Bad graphics corruption. Expected Results: Should appear as normal. Firefox version: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1 OS: Fedora 14 Kernel: 2.6.38.4 Using AMD Catalyst 11.4 Proprietary Drivers Xorg 1.9.5

*This is not a graphics driver problem because no other programs have problems with it. Only Firefox and Thunderbird have these problems.

What's your graphics chipset? $ lspci | grep VGA Does everything you have problem with always turn into green color? Wild speculations: The PNG logos on firefox.com have alpha channels, and I assume the Personas also have alpha channels. So maybe the bug has something to do with that. Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

lspci: VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RS780M/RS780MN [Radeon HD 3200 Graphics] Yes, it seems that for the things it doesn't like, things turn into either green or purple. No other colors. Possibly. I know a few things about graphics, but I didn't know alpha channels could cause that. Though it'd still be a Mozilla-only problem, for alpha channels everywhere else are fine. Safe Mode still has the same issue.

Have you always had this problem this problem, or did it occur suddenly when upgrading Firefox/the AMD driver/the operating system etc?

I believe it appeared after the latest AMD driver was installed.

Danny, is this bug still an issue with recent versions of Firefox / AMD drivers?
