I received an email stating a read receipt was requested.  I clicked send receipt, and was shown a message stating unknown user email address. Then got a message "THIS IS JUST A PLACE HOLDER. YOU SHOULD NEVER SEE THIS MESSAG

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Received email from [e-mail]
2. Click to send read receipt
3. error pops up
4. then place holder message

Can you share the message with us ? (ie remove the private information in it - save it (in .eml) and attach it to the bug using the add an attachment link above) ?

There's nothing of importance in it so i've attached it as is.

It's bizarre as the .org email address is a valid alias or .co.uk

I can send to .org fine from gmail.com...

I've tried rebooting laptop, restarted thunderbird and also flushed dnscache

Hi Ludovic,

It's bizarre! Suddenly I can no longer send to @eurofairs.org addresses and I have no idea why.  I've tried rebooting, flushing dns, restarting thunderbird etc etc.  It's very odd!

There shouldn't be anything message specific that affecting the reciept.
Do you still see this problem?
