In bug 282068, I added some generic code for messagereader-style toolbars. Since this happened after bug 470824 had been fixed, the tasks buttons in Lightning don't take advantage of that (they just use copied-and-pasted code). We should use the generic code, since it's better-tested, and will be easier to keep up to date.
