I followed what described in this comment no.14 to bug 399761 here https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=399761#c14 to set bold the days in minimonths for allday events.
Then I closed and restarted Thunderbird but the bold days in minimonths appear only if I set new events and not on the already set allday events.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Set an allday event
2.Modify calendar.allday.defaultTransparency to OPAQUE as described in comment
3.then restart Thunderbird
4.Set another allday event in another day
5. You'll see in minimonths in bold only the day of the event set AFTER that you changed the calendar.allday.defaultTransparency to OPAQUE

Obviously the easy workaround is to delete and set again the event
The preference specifies the default value that is used when creating new events. Existing events will not be changed. You can edit them manually and change the Show Time As setting if needed.
--> Therefore it works as specified.

Well, I take note of this behaviour even if I'm not fully agree. The events already set should fit the new preferences. By the way this is just my opinion.
