It makes it nearly impossible to try and use. Even clicking enter within the textarea only adds a space rather than creating a new line.

I'm not sure to understand, do you want to be able to restore a session from one month ago even if you have opened/closed 10 times the device?

Have been investigating this some more and it would appear that even bugzilla does this.

Once you leave the fullscreen editor its fine, but in the fullscreen editor, all text is displayed on a single line.
