User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:7.0a1) Gecko/20110526 Firefox/7.0a1 Build Identifier: On desktop the user has total control over the feel of their Firefox experience. It would be good if users could add Home buttons, load previous session buttons, etc to the navigation (right) panel in the same way. Reproducible: Always

There are no plans to offer built-in customization tools. An add-on could be created to do it.

Why is it that what is considered fundamental desktop functionality isn't carried over to mobile. I'm all for extensions, but basic customisations like the ability to add a home button to a largely empty panel is something the stock product should provide. Customization is the core of FireFox, extensibility is supposed to merely be an extention of that, not the basis.
