666826 - System hang when closing out of tabs running flash based objects

When surfing the web my experience is perfectly normal. But once I launch a flash based object like a youtube video. Once I try to close that tab 98% of the time the system will go into 100% load and lock up. After clicking on the desktop you get a single beep code and then the entire system hangs. No crash report or nothing either. I have to hold down the power button to reboot the machine. I have ran this test over and over on many fresh installations of Windows XP Pro SP3 x86. This has happened with 4.0.x versions as well. But never with 3.6.x versions of firefox.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a few new tabs.
2. Open a youtube video.
3. Close the youtube tab.

Actual Results:  
Its a on and off bug. Tho it happens more often on, then off. Usually about once or twice a day.

I would also like to add that it continues to happen even in a single tab. I loaded up a flash video to watch before I went to sleep. I woke up with it froze about 5 minutes in. Mouse cursor moves all normal. As soon as I click outside the window, bang, the system hangs. So it may be flash related bug, but I have noticed when using chrome etc. This problem doesn't exist.

It's never the fault of a usermode application like Firefox that the system hangs or crashes. It doesn't have the rights to do something like that.
Firefox can only trigger a bug in either the OS (unlikely) or in one of the installed drivers and today it's Firefox and tomorrow it's a different application.

You can try to upgrade the graphic card driver and if that doesn't help you could try it with disabled hardware acceleration in Firefox (alt key)/tools/options/advanced/general
