- start moz from an xterm
- load http://www.cnn.com/browsers/ns6/
- click "add it now" under "CNN.com Expanded"
- Watch xterm

Result: when alert-box w. "My Sidebar" pops up, new mozilla-bin threads are
spawned continously.

Now cancel the alert (or install sidebar)
ps -ef |grep mozilla-bin:
A heap of defunct mozilla-bin processes will hang around for rest of session.

(Sidebar is added OK if you choose that.)
this happens trying to add ANY sidebar panel, and only then, it seems. (also at
mozillazine). Changing component to sidebar
