It seems like there's a lot of work going into about:memory.  njn, do you think a separate component would be helpful?
about:memory is implemented in toolkit/components/aboutmemory/... sorry, I don't understand the question.
Would you like to be able to file a bug against about:memory by filing in the toolkit/about:memory bugzilla component?
Oh right.  I should have looked at the product/component of this bug, sorry.

It wouldn't hurt to add a new component.  Toolkit/General is a bit... general :)

What things other than about:memory would go in this component?
We can handle getting this new component added once the naming and purpose of the field is ironed out.

I discussed this with khuey, we agreed that Toolkit/about:memory is fine for the new component.

It would be nice to also have a Core/Memory Tools for things like trace-malloc, but that's beyond the scope of this bug.
