Right now each of these is a query, for every answer. We will have this data in Redis once the karma backend is running.

If Redis is down we can either fallback to the query or not show them. But we can't 500 :)
I like this idea a lot! :D

And falling back seems better, even though it would increase load on the DB servers (back to where it is now).
