Firefox crashes every time i try to load it. Even internet explore and google chrome all giving the 0xc0000005 error EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 ( ) Build ID: 20100722155716 Steps to reproduce: I had a nasty virus on my computer i got rid of it. Monzilla firefox internet explore and google chrome all worked fine after that for awhile. Then one day i restarted my computer and every time i try to load any of them i get the same error 0xc0000005 EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ. The virus was Rogue:Win32/FakeRean Rogue:Win32/FakeRean Exploit:Win32/pdfjsc.RF This is a link containing information on the Trojan http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Threat/Encyclopedia/Entry.aspx?name=Rogue%3aWin32%2fFakeRean&threatid=2147607809 Actual results: Crashes on any browser you attempt to open with the 0xc0000005 error

It is possible you are still infected. Or you have bad memory. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/239451-45-0xc0000005-access-violation However, this isn't an issue we can do anything about.
