IIUC, it's supposed to work as follows in the browser: * Ctrl+W closes current tab; when closing last tab it also closes window (but not last window) provided that browser.tabs.closeWindoWithLastTab is true (default) in about:config. * Shift+Ctrl+W closes current window (if it has 2 or more tabs, there may be an "Are you sure?" dialog depending on a pref). * Ctrl+Q or Ctrl+X (depending on OS) quits the app. Pref-dependent "Are you sure?" and "Save current session?" dialogs are possible. * Close-window button on titlebar (and IIUC also hitting F4) closes the current window, and quits the app if it was the last window. Same dialogs as above. IIUC, on Mac keyboards the Ctrl modifier is replaced by a Cmd modifier.

No reply in a year. I'm resolving this INCOMPLETE for now. Guy, if you see the same problem in SeaMonkey 2.11 or later, *and* if it doesn't behave as I said in comment #1, you may REOPEN with a comment explaining in detail how it differs from the expected behaviour. Please also copy & paste, from the highest SeaMonkey version where you see the problem, the bottom lines of the "Help → About" page, i.e., "User agent" if present, and "Build identifier" (which will always be present though not always with the same meaning).
