Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows NT)
BuildID: 2001020320

When I start the installation and choose "Custom Install", all options are
greyed out, making it impossible for me to, say, deselect Chatzilla. I *have*
to do a complete or browser-only installation.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download latest nightly
2. Start installation
3. Choose "Custom installation"
4. Try to deselect components

Expected Results: Should be able to deselect components I don't want to
install...

This has been happening on the last couple of builds last week, and it's in
this build too.. dunno how long this has been in, and not sure if it's just a
problem with my setup..
If you have already installed a component, from a previous installation, you
cant uncheck that one in the installer. To do this, first uninstall Mozilla and
then rerun the installer.

Hmm.. Just to play Devil's advocate: How about *telling* the user this? I don't
think every user that stumbles across this will file a bug, although it's
obviously a bug. Maybe the installer should ask the user whether the old Mozilla
should be removed? I know it already does this, but it should happen before the
user reaches the "Select which installation you want" screen.
then you should file a bug to the installer component, or better yet, see if one
exists.
