Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0
Build ID: 20110811165603

Steps to reproduce:

1. Load Gmail, log in, and make its tab an app tab.
2. Close the browser.
3. Open the browser.

Actual results:

Gmail stayed logged in after the browser restart.

Expected results:

It should have logged out, the same way as if it had been loaded in a normal tab (not app tab).

Also note that:
1. in normal tabs Gmail or other Google sites will prompt for a password, even though in the app tab (in the same session) the log in was preserved.
2. most other sites (such as Facebook) don't preserve the log in in the app tab
3. Chrome doesn't preserve the Gmail login in pinned tabs
4. This behaviour doesn't add any useful functionality, there's already a way to preserve Gmail login across sessions for those who prefer to do so.
5. There's no way to prevent this
6. This behaviour is confusing, dangerous and inconsistent (doesn't work the same for all sites)
I'm not sure I agree with #1 and #2.

Do you still see this problem when using a current version?
