(Whiteboard: [l10n])

We've created one more billboard that's encouraging users to update to the newest version of Firefox, and it should be translated in all languages Firefox is available in.

This is really important because that way we make sure to let our users know that they could use better and newer version of Firefox - in their language!

This time we have 2 billboards. One is for our Firefox 3.6 users, and the other one is for all others who're not using the latest version of Firefox.

Files to translate have been put in:

https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.com/trunk/el/firefox/latest/details/

As you can see, there are 2 files: index.html and from-3.6.html. Both files are actually PHP files, and they contain strings to translate.

Once you translate those files, please commit your changes and paste the revision number here.

As always,

If you need any help with translating these files, don't hesitate to ask. You can find me on IRC(irc.mozilla.org, channel #l10n, nick Milos), or you can email me - milos@mozilla.com

Initially committed revision 94623 for el.

Milos, where is the "Get the newest version" string? I have to see the button/link that is supposed to be visible "below" in order to be sure that the translation is ok.
George,

If you're talking index.html, it's going to be shown in a Firefox UI, as a window encouraging users to upgrade. Buttons will be added automatically.

Milos, I am talking about the button that will contain the string "Get the newest version" as far as I can guess (a string that will be included in main.lang perhaps?).
Sure it will be added automatically, but sometimes that doesn't work well with el.
The text might be too long to fit in the button, css rules might "break" it, etc...

I have to see the entire page on stage before I can guarantee that it looks ok.

Also, I know it is not relevant, but please take a look at bug 681253.
George,

Sorry for a late response. Here's something from previous version which may give you the idea on what to expect:

Ok, that looks like a string from the toolkit so it's ok to go.
Please mark this fixed.
