Winston please can you use the October Firefox & You security focused newsletter to help users address email scamming in general.

We are requesting this to be set up as we are receiving many notices that people in the UK are getting spammy emails regarding Firefox.

Did anything get into the October Firefox & You security focused newsletter? This request was prompted by a scam in which someone pretending to be Mozilla sent an email to many people (not just in the UK but all over the world) telling them they'd won money from Mozilla. In the last couple of days we've received notices about 2 more similar scams, one involving text messages telling people they;'ve won money.

We're definitely going to include something about email scams.  Spoke with Carmen briefly today and asked her to add it to the outline for the Oct. edition.  Not sure where they'll be pointed yet.  If her content hub is up, I assume there.  If not - it may simply be embedded in the article - or perhaps we could talk with security and/or privacy team about a blog post.
