Making a tab is too hard

With the "show the tabs" button having moved to the toolbar (rather than the old if less discoverable swipe-right gesture which I quite liked), it is somewhat difficult to create a new tab. Hitting the "show the tabs" button isn't too hard, but then I have to move my hand all the way to the bottom of the tab gutter to find the relatively small "+" button, which is right next to a bunch of destructive buttons (Android's Back and Home). Some ideas: * Move the "+" button to the top of the tab gutter. * Alternately, make the big, black, easy-to-hit empty space in the gutter create a new tab. * Or, more discoverably, put a placeholder "new tab" button--the same size and shape as a normal tab--below the real tabs. Most of the time--when there are only a few tabs--it would be pretty close to the "show the tabs" button.

(The third suggestion above doesn't work at all when you have so many tabs that you have to scroll.)
