Steps to reproduce:

I closed firefox and then later I tried to open firefox


Actual results:

it gave me an error saying that firefox was already running but it didnt show it running in my windows but hit ctrl alt del go to task manager processes sort by name scroll down and it shows firefox.exe is running I close it and then start firefox and it starts as it should. somehow the firefox.exe process isnt closing when I exit out of firefox I have no firefox windows open or anything opened they are all closed but the process is still running


Expected results:

firefox should have started

How long did you wait?

Can you reproduce the issue in Safe Mode and with a new profile?
sdrocking sorry I searched and didnt find any bug reports on this and Tim I will try to find out the answers to your questions
