Steps to reproduce:

In the latest trunk, from View menu-> lowest meu item Apply Theme doesn't read. Selecting submenu arrow, submenu items are invisible too.

IanN You touched the menus in the hidden window stuff recently didn't you?
I don't see this running the same build as the one in comment #0. I checked browser/mail and with all windows closed and I see the labels in both menu and sub-menu. I'm on 10.6.8, but I doubt that it matters. Rocco, can you please restart in safe mode and also try with a new fresh profile. Also, when do you see this (from mailNews, browser or when all windows are closed)?
Oh, and are there any errors in the error console when you open the menu?

I see this in all of SeaMonkey windows. However, I restarted in safe mode, clicking on SeaMonkey icon with option key (without disabling all extensions). In safe mode, it's OK: I can see menu item Apply Theme and also submenu items.
Updated today to 2.7a1 build trunk. Problem vanished. View menu OK.
