User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:7.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0 Build ID: 20110922153450 Steps to reproduce: I was using FF 6.0.2 and I set in about:config these setting as app.update.auto > false app.update.enabled > false Actual results: I update to FF 7.0 by about dialog and today I see 7.0.1 is released so I click about dialog and FF downloaded and installed new version automatically. Expected results: app.update.enabled string doesn't remember value, I would like to install manually or later (optional). I think when updating new version of FF then app.update.enabled value is resetting as false > true again.

WFM: When updating from Firefox 24 beta 1 to Firefox 25 beta 4, the prefs are kept as "false". Same when updating from Firefox 23 Nightly to Firefox 27 Nightly.
