Actual results: The download of the Flash Player installer appears to get downloaded, but then I get the manual install button. Expected results: Flash Player 11 should have been installed.

This is what I get when I uninstall flash and then try to find the new version using the PFS.

I am not sure this is a problem with the actual service. Are you in Win XP 32-bit? I see the right output on the service if so -- so I'm a bit confused about why it's offering manual updates only.

I just tested again and it's working for me on XP 32-bit Firefox. Thanks!

Whaaat? Let's figure out if it's intermittent. I'm testing on a couple boxes myself to see what's up.

I just tested this again using the latest nightly build on Win XP x32, and there are two issues I see: *I am not getting offered Flash 11, but rather Version 10.3.183.7 using PFS *Even when I try to install that version, it fails and I get the manual install. I am not sure which version John was working with in Comment 3, but I have seen this using other Firefox versions as well (see Comment 1)

I'm on Windows Firefox 3.6.23 (32-bit) at work, and PFS is correctly serving up and installing Flash Player 11. However, I noticed last nite at home that PFS is still failing (not sure which version of Firefox 3.x I have there). At home I'm getting offered Flash Player 10.3.183.7 in the PFS dialog, and the installation fails (leaving me with the manual install button).

This should have been fixed with changes made a month ago where some of the machine moves to PHX weren't completely made. Please reopen if that is not the case.
