696138 - Awesome bar doesn't give results in new tabs

Steps to reproduce:
- Open a new tab
- Start typing in the Awesome bar
- Result: No drop down with suggestions

Expected behavior:
- Open a new tab
- Start typing in the Awesome bar
- Drop down appear with suggestion based on what I'm typing

It can be reproduced 90% of the times.
It works fine in tabs that already have content and it works after removing the focus of the new tab and going back to it.

I'm happy to stop by someones desk to troubleshoot.

Btw, may be some kind of focus problem. Is this OSX 10.6, 10.7?

Restarted in Safe Mode: Worked fine.
Restarted in normal mode: Works fine.

Perhaps it has something to do with the length of the session, even though it has been happening for a while. Restarting the browser didn't help in the past.

I'll report back if it happens again and I can reproduce it on Safe Mode.

For the record, it's 10.7
