698571 - Implement 3.6 ---> Fx8 What's New to /central redirect

We'd like to show the people upgrading from 3.6 ---> Fx8 the /central page instead of our traditional What's New page since this upgrade is so major. We did this during the Fx4 launch by essentially showing the First Run content within the What's New page (more or less). 

During this time we'd like to show these users http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/central/. These 3.6 users WILL see a What's New page during the Fx8 launch timeframe (as opposed to the folks already on Fx4 and above - they will NOT see any What's New page, please note this nuance). To get this group of users to see the content we'd like, please implement a redirect from

http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/8.0/whatsnew/

to 

http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/central/

Laura, I think you explained this clearly, but I want to double check to make absolutely sure I'm clear on it.

All visitors to en-US/firefox/8.0/whatsnew/ should redirect to en-US/firefox/central/ - and this will only affect 3.6 upgraders because 4.0+ won't be seeing the whatsnew page. Correct?

I'm just double-checking that the 3.6 vs. 4.0+ differentiation is happening in the actual product, not on our end in the websites. Thanks.

Done in trunk. Since this only affects the 8.0* whatsnew page URLs, it can probably go into production before the final 8.0 release. It would affect 8.0 betas though.
