It would be nice if Talos (and about everything else in the world, for that matter) had an INSTALL.py script that - setup a virtualenv - downloaded and installed the software

This should install talos in a virtualenv. It does not handle the pywin32 prereq, which currently isn't even in setup.py. If the basic idea works, I propose we take it and hack out the details later.

overall this looks fairly safe for people using talos to reproduce something.

pushed: http://hg.mozilla.org/build/talos/rev/5fe72ec77348 Yeah, its pretty rough right now. We should probably continue to hone it going forward, but it at least seems to work on windows, linux, and presumedly OSX
