Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0.1
Build ID: 20110928134238

Steps to reproduce:

I logged onto my computer via Remote Desktop (RDP), opened Firefox, did stuff, closed it, and disconnected the session.
Then I resumed the session locally and opened Firefox again.
I have gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.rendering_mode set to 5.

Actual results:

Remotely, bi-level font rendering is used. (This part is correct.)
Locally, GDI ClearType font rendering is used.

Expected results:

Locally, it should obey the about:config setting and use rendering mode 5.
(Mode 5 is my default, but the issue happens no matter what method I choose.)

Logging off and back on restores proper text rendering.
Greg,

do you still see this issue??
