We are going to release Bugzilla 4.1.4, 4.0.3, 3.6.7 and 3.4.13 due to the security bug 697699 which affects all branches, and also because there are some valuable fixes already checked in into the 4.0 branch, especially about incompatibilities with newer versions of version.pm and about crashes with Oracle. 4.1.4 is also much more stable than previous 4.1.x snapshots as it has got QA tests running (though still some orange to debug and fix). I really hope this will be the last snapshot before 4.2rc1, and also the last release for the 3.4 branch. It's high time to fix the remaining blockers.

The FK bug is a hard blocker. We won't release anything without it. Also, we did enough progress to jump to 4.2rc1 directly instead of 4.1.4. And all QA tests are green.
Depends on: 683644
Summary: Release Bugzilla 4.1.4, 4.0.3, 3.6.7 and 3.4.13 → Release Bugzilla 4.2rc1, 4.0.3, 3.6.7 and 3.4.13

I left mkanat as the author of the announcement as I simply copied his release announcement for 4.0rc1 and simply fixed the version numbers. Tell me if I should use my name instead.

I updated bugzilla-update.xml. Why haven't the sec adv and the release announcement been sent?

Oh, and http://www.bugzilla.org/security/3.4.12/ still displays the fake sec adv, not the real one.

We must also generate documentation for the 4.2 branch: http://www.bugzilla.org/docs/4.2/ doesn't exist.

(In reply to Frédéric Buclin from comment #10) > Why haven't the sec adv and the release announcement been sent? FYI, I sent the sec adv, and dkl is working on sending the release announcement. (In reply to Frédéric Buclin from comment #11) > Oh, and http://www.bugzilla.org/security/3.4.12/ still displays the fake sec > adv, not the real one. I fixed that as well.
